My New Trader Joe's Beauty Secret
I am a longtime lover of Trader Joe's. I remember when I first moved to Los Angeles in 2008, I was in awe of my knowing LA friends whose counters and cabinets were full of all of the cool, culty Trader Joe's products. Today, I joke that I cannot even consider living somewhere that isn't within a reasonable distance to Trader Joe's.
My addiction has evolved over the years. Early on, we were lovers of their potstickers and Gyoza dipping sauce, BBQ sauce, and prepackaged, fresh veggies. Over time, though, we dug deeper and fell for their nut mixes, hand soap and vitamins. This week, I discovered something new. I am afraid it might be one of those short-lived products, so I want to share it with everyone so you all can enjoy it while it lasts.
This Rose Oil Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream is amazing. And only $4.99. It comes in cute packaging (complete with millennial pink and gold foil), and a lovely silver, metallic tube that reminds me of serious and effective beauty products.
It's thick and creamy, and it smells just as you would expect a nice rose lotion to smell: powdery and just a bit fragrant. I put it on at night and woke up in the morning feeling a little bit smoother.
Did you know that Trader Joe's is a German-owned company? I sometimes wonder if their beauty products are so good beauty because of their European parents. Hmm. Something to ponder while you're lavishly coating your hands in this lovely lotion.
