Three Fun Things
How is your week going so far? There's been an unusually high amount of energy in our house in the late afternoons (higher than our normal high energy), so we're trying to get creative in ways to channel all that excitement. Do you have any ideas on how to manage high energy levels with four kids? Any teachers out there will to share some tricks of the trade? The pool has been our go-to so far, and we all love it.
Here are three fun things that have caught my eye lately.
A New Basic and Beautiful Fashion Line
The founder of cult-indie fashion label Band of Outsiders recently launched a new utopian basics line called Entireworld. Founder Scott Sternberg (no relation, unfortunately) started it as a more democratic attempt at fashion - providing classic basics designed with quality. It's direct to consumer (no stores), and the prices range from a reasonable $15 - $225. I can't wait to try it out.
Are you obsessed with La Croix?
Because I am. Seriously, I schedule my La Croix's in my day, and especially during the summer, I look forward to those refreshing sips. Obsessed. So, I found this particularly hilarious: "Don't even think about talking to me until I've had my second La Croix".
This Artist Makes Indoor Rainbows
In case you're in need of a smile, check out this incredible art. Gabriel Dawe makes actual rainbows using fine threads in exact and luminous displays that seem to radiate color. He went to art school and channeled a childhood frustration from when his grandmother didn't teach him to embroider because he was a boy. He went on to learn embroidery and then graphic design, ultimately creating these large scale beauties. 🌈
