What Keeps You Up at Night?
For long time, I laughed at this question: "what keeps you up at night?" My answer was always so straightforward: my kids. Literally. They were up so much during the night, keeping me awake. But they are not always to blame. At times, other stressors, thoughts, or ideas, keep us awake or from relaxing.
As a parent, my challenges have shifted from needing sleep, to finding balance, to planning for the future, or literally staying above water (like this old Jim Gaffigan joke), and everything in between.
In truth, though, life has many complications, and we're almost never free from any kind of worry or thought. That kind of complexity can be one of the beauties of life. If it were totally easy, would we appreciate the journey? I am not so sure.
So, all this brings me to my question: what challenges are you facing? I would love to hear from you in a very short (anonymous) two-question survey about what pain points you're experiencing as a parent and in life.
My hope is to be able to listen to you and find a way to better provide value to you through 19 Streets. As I continue to explore the possibilities with 19 Streets, I want, above all, to make something that is valuable and interesting to YOU.
So, would you be able to take a moment to fill out my two-question survey? I know your time is precious, so I truly appreciate the effort.
